The first of the first of the first!

Tuesday 11th February, and I’ve finally gotten around to writing my first entry of the diary I had sworn I would start on January 1st…better late than never I suppose. As you can probably see by now unless you’re blind and feeling my thoughts through the incredible use of Braille, I have decided to turn this diary in to a blog so all you crazy fans out there can follow my work in progress…and when I say fans I mean…well fans!

In many ways this is exactly what I am, a ‘work in progress’ (not a fan). In many ways this is exactly what we all are and maybe we don’t ever stop being this ‘work in progress’. Maybe this is what brings us all together, and war only occurs when people don’t realise that they are the work in progress, and they will never actually see the end result.

I have side stepped slightly (like the Macarena) and do not wish to cause a debate. I am here to simply use this realisation to motivate me in my preparation to move to the most beautiful place in the world, Skegness. Oh sorry I mean PARIS, sometimes I get confused as they are oh so similar.

I may fail at this. I may succeed at this. I don’t know how long it will take and I don’t know how much it will cost, but I do know that right now in this moment, on this day in time, and for the last 100 days I have wanted to move to Paris. And so hopefully this will spear me on to making it happen. There’s the dramatic action right there.

I will not sit here and lie through the skin of my teeth and declare to the world that I will write on here every day, but I will write on here often, and I will include what some of you may think is complete randomness, but trust me - when you get to the end you’ll realise that nothing is ever really random...or is it?!

So why 100 days I hear you ask with anticipation and wonder? Well, the reason started back in October when I took a little solo trip to the capital of France to find Sarah Lakin. I had reason to believe that she had gone missing many moons ago and I couldn’t think of where else she would have gone, so I went to Paris (not Portugal) in search of this short and slightly Jewish girl, and in search of a reason to WRITE!

Post Script: With each post I will reveal a little more of my progress on the road to…wherever I end up. I will also include some of what happened in Paris and random qwerty thoughts that sometimes won’t make any sense at all.

 - Next time on Your Head Not Mine… Did Sal find Sal? Will we ever know what Qwerty means? And what ever happened to the Macarena?! Tune in soon to find out…BOOM!
